Gti With Smooth Arches And Bumpers

has any one got any pix of a WHITE gti/cti with the standard archs, door mouldings and bumpers smoothed and painted BLACK, or if sumone could photo shop one i would much appreciate it,

I would like a simlar pic, I am thinking of rolling my arches and fitting rallye arches so I can go super low.

 

Also removing the side strips completely and smoothing the strips in the bumpers, not sure it would look right tho.

To add a splash of colour My old 1.9.

 

Plus my rallye arched turbo

Wont be smoothing the bumpers though this time, just filling the holes and keeping them black.

 

I found there was only one type of bumper filler you could use.Hopefully things have changed

Wouldnt go too smooth either you run the risk of making it look like a Fiesta

I think you have alot more scope with a CTI to modify the body whilst

remaining un-chaved for want of a better phrase.

It seems to suit the fully 'smooth' look.

 

Have wondered what the standard arches would look like if they carried

on till the sill.

You whipper-snappers won't remember the Gutmann Racing Look 2 kit then When I were a lad, and mi dad came 'ome from pit, 'e used to clip my round t' ear for looking at pics of Gutmann 205's!!!!!

yeah the kit and even the wheels are obviously the same (gutmann) .

Mine has Smooth bumpers, boot, doors, it was voted as the smoothest 205 in the UK by Max power in 2004.
