I have a couple of problems with a 106 which I hope you lot can help me with. Firstly, how do you switch the service light off and secondly what causes the air bag light to stay on? Cheers.

Air bag most likely the seat belt pre-tensioners under the seats.

Best bet is to cut off standard connectors and put new ones on, but occassionally the wires can have internal fractures from the seat being moved back and forward often.

Sure the service light is done by holding the trip reset in with the ignition turned on?

yeah, for the service counter, push the button in, turn ignition on then you'll see a 10 second counter. When it reaches 0, that's it done
