M3Evo 0 Posted August 9, 2006 Guess this is relevant to anyone with an aftermarket ECU: If it takes a couple of seconds cold cranking to get the engine to start, do ya reckon it needs more fuel or less? Think the advance is set to 8 degrees odd on mine if it has a massive effect?
Bono 0 Posted August 9, 2006 mine takes a couple of seconds to crank purely because the ecu waits 3 turns before firing. try increasing fuel or decreasing it to see whether it makes a difference?
