johnrobertgordon 0 Posted June 27, 2006 I had palnned to use a 1.6 box, clutch and driveshafts. Bt i have been told that the 1.6 box is going to be a little short. Also there is strength issues with the 1.6 shafts and clutch. Has any one here runa 1.9 TT with 1.6 running gear? John Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

pdd144c 0 Posted June 27, 2006 It will struggle for grip with a 1.9 box so id imagine a 1.6 item will be dreadful. Really need a LSD aswell. Mi16 Flywheel is a good option, allows you upgrade to standalone management when required. 1.6 hubs will also limit your brake choices, which will need uprating.
