205 Gti Timing,

ok checking timing is the next step in the long non running 205 saga, anyone offer me some pointers on setting timing for the wee gti beasty?

 

 

ie where the marks are and what i should be seeing?

oh and if the timing has jumped would this be reason enough for her not to stop running mid blat and then refuse to start again

 

i've tried everything else its all it can be

Now you are talking about cam timing. If the cam belt has slipped more than a tooth or two then valves hit pistons and it gets very messy...jut hope it isn't this.
