ok i've just changed my central locking motor on the drivers side and had to do a little re-wiring to rectify a dodgy alarm splice.

Anyways, the wires are all wired up correctly, but when i go to plug in the live circuit the fuse pops. Having blown 15 fuses trying different things I'm now desperate for suggestions :excl:

Which fuse pops? That should give you an idea where to check for a short or faulty componant.

its the 25amp fuse in the centre of the board. I think it serves the elec windows (which work) and cl, but stand to be corrected.

Not sure if it makes any difference, but I've just replaced the rear light loom (phase one to two) and have two 'spare' plugs behind the rear passenger light which arent connected to anything. One connected to a green wire, and another to a blue, both female connectors.
