Indicators Go Mad

Recommended Posts

Grim.Badger

Every now and then my indicators stop working, but the dashboard light flashes super fast :D . It seems that all the indicators stop working when this happens (but I'm not sure yet because it hasn't happened when I can check without sticking my head out of the window on the motorway :) ), and it doesn't mater if I indicate left or right.

I presume there is a duff connection somewhere but has anyone got any suggestions as to where to start? I've searched the forum but can't find an identical problem.

Cheers

likely duff connection in the bulb holder - check bulb caps and the fixing that it slots into for corrosion & clean as req'd - smear with vaseline - reinstall - check

otherwise, it'll be some horrible french-electrical-gremlin

'fingers crossed'! :D

My sisters 205 does strange things like that. I generally just put the hazards on for one flash, then everything is fine. I have no idea what causes it, but until it does it more frequently i can't be arsed fixing it...

as said, check the rear lights, the bulb doesn't always make good connection. had to fiddle with it a few times till i got it to sit tight.
