batoutofhell 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Hi guys, Is it possible to modify the remote window openers out of a 309 gti so they can be used in a 205, or has anybody attempted to fit them in a 205. Cheers. John
ALEX 98 1 Cars Posted April 5, 2006 Not sure what you mean exaclty but the Toad Ai606 Alarm has a function that lets you connect a device that remotley controls the windows. It has an output for remote start too. I've seeen one of these and thats cool

All needed is the 309 console with the cables and handles? Do the window catches fit the 205?
Ryan 99 Posted April 5, 2006 The 205 catches have the same part numbers as the non-remote 309 catches, so the remote window catches should be a straight swap. I thought about doing this last summer, but never got round to it.

tagy 1 Posted April 5, 2006 just to say I wondered about this before, pug 806 was mentioned as another possible source of electric ones. http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?showtopic=32175&hl=
Dream Weaver 2 Posted April 6, 2006 My mates 330ci also has the electric ones, could be worth going for BMW quality electrics Good idea actually, as I use those 3 quarter windows quite a bit in summer, and its a ballache having to stop and open the boot to open them. Michael LOL You can open them just about from the std seats, but I could never close them from inside. Dont have a hope of even opening them from inside now with the buckets either.
