Where Has This Connector Come From?

During my as yet unsuccessful attempt to route speaker wire into the front door I have managed to somehow yank this connector out resulting in loss of electric windows and central locking for that side of the car.

 

Im guessing it came from behind the door card somewhere but can anyone point out exactly where?

there are only the following possible connections in a 205 door, so with the door card off, you should be able to tell:

 

Speaker

Window motor

window switches

central locking motor

heated mirrors (dont think GTI's ever had these?)

 

pretty sure that is the speaker one, so maybe have unplugged something else as well?

Looks like a speaker one to me... odd that the windows and c/locking have both stopped working cause they each have seperate plugs/wires...

In that case it's probably me being too rough with the whole bunch of wires trying to force the speaker cable through, will pop the door card tomorrow and have a look

Dpepnds where this connector is. Is it at the left or right of the door. Left = C/L right = window.

 

I had to replace the door on my 205.

It looks to me like the plug for the electric window motor.

Its a right B*****d to get back in.

I foolishly just put the motor back in and looked at the plug and thought where the hell does this go, so i took it all apart looked at where the plug went put it back in and then spent 10mins trying to find it again.

There is no easy way to find the thing just feel for it with tur fingers.

 

The way i got it, hole in btm right of door. Stuff ur hand up there to plug it back in. its on the btm of the right hand side of the motor

 

Its simpler if u take the motor off to have a look at where the plug goes.

 

As for the C/L the wires come together as they go through the door. if you've managed to yank out the lecy window one perhaps the c/l one has come loose aswell.

 

Just seen u aint got the door card off so it must be the Window.
