Sorry I didn't get time to reply to your Email Phil.

I had a look at the photos last night, and those runs couldn't be in a worse place really :( With the stonechip paint on the sills, any attempt at sanding them out could easily see you going through the paint.

Best advice I can give would be to mask up the area around them, then use a sanding block with some fine paper (1200) and gently try and sand the 'tops' off them. You'll not get them fully level, but it might improve things a bit. A bit of rubbing compound afterwards would bring back the shine on the sanded areas (T-Cut would do at a push), but again you'll need to be careful to avoid rubbing through.

You might be lucky, as it's clearly been resprayed in that area, so the paint will be thicker than factory stuff, but white always seems to be an easy colour to sand through.

Sorry to be a bit doom-and-gloom about it, but I'd rather be realistic :)

Have you got any pics of the side of the car in its entirety? The sills look good all white from what i can see in you r pics. I've a smalll amount of rust on mine that needs sorting, but i've been trying to decide for ages; do i keep them black or go white?

I'm trying to sort the side mouldings today, what a pain they are, when I move the car I'll try to get a better pic, there are a couple of pictures of when I originally bought her on my site but they are'nt that clear in the top folder,
