This might be a tad amature, but can i fit a 309 carpet in my 205? Straight swap? If not what do i need to do to make it fit?

Nope, they are a different floorpan... You would probably need to cut and trim it to fit. Why you wanting to use a 309 carpet anyhow?

you have to make it fit. A 205 is smaller than a 309. I had a 309 carpet of 16v in my 205. The only problem is the thing in the middle beneath the radio (don't know the english word for it :)). You can't use it of the 309... This was my solution;

@kuuner: centreconsole

I have the same 309GTi16 carpet in my CTi and had even more problems due to the different floorpan. But the centreconsole was quite easy. In the end I used 2 complete carpets.

Hi Kunner,

Going off topic I know, but you have very interesting door panels, and window controls - where did they come from?

I don't know what you mean with 'window controls', because i've electric windows in my GTi. i think you mean the tweeters of my audio?

Hallo again Koen,

Thanks for the pics.

When I looked at your pics in 205 dimma - the 6th one down - I saw, what appeared to me, to be electric window controls built into the inside of each seat side, upper leg support cushion.

I understand now that I was looking at ICE controls - quite interesting anyway - I have never seen anything like that before.

Cheers

Roy

i'd say those are Audi seats with electric controls built in like that, but i may as well be wrong :lol:.

They are electrically adjustable Recaro's. These were delivered by Dimma in this car.

Hmmmmm, there was some miscommunication i think :lol: I thought you ment the picture above (of my old blue GTi). But you saw my dimma interior...

Well, these doorpanels were made by dimma. like the rest of the interior you can see on the pics. Everything is custom made by dimma.

And it is, what Hilgert says; they are electrically adjustable and heated recaro seats. Also placed by dimma.

Koen.
