What Colour To Spray My 205

Hi all.

 

Some of you may have seen my post about the changes my little 205 is going through but anyway im after some suggestions on colours.

 

I have been looking at purple/green flip and also some candy colours.

 

Has anyone got any ideas and pictures of really nice paint work i am after something which is going to stand out and also to accompany the bodywork..

its a colour that does stand out but im after something more special in a way..

 

What spoiler have you got on there by the way. im after something about that size!

Yeh no what you mean,but i personally would'nt spend 4k on a flip paint job,unless you knew someone in the business already but hey its your car mate.

 

Spoiler was from Mel northen line of ebay,think she sells arches too,cost £80..had a third brakelight in it.

What about that VW grey, kind of has a hint of purple in it? You see it on Corrado's and the last run mk2 Golf GTI's. Very subtle colour, I'm dying to see it on a 205!

Kandy colours are the way forward, a nice reddy orange would be your best best.

What about the colour of the new focus RS, burnt orange I think they call it

have you thought about mattt colours. like matt black. there is a really nice white that ive seen on an astra mk4 pickup. i think it was like a snow white. very clean and bright look

Where are you getting the respray done then, as I'm looking to get a full respray (albeit in original Miami Blue)?

I do likethe new focus RS colour and that candy orange too.

I got some pics of candy red and i really like that.

 

The bloke who done my bodywork, his brother is a sprayer so will prob get it done through him.

Although i have had quotes to spray flip paint inside and outside but not engine bay noe under car and was quoted roughly around £600

 

Which i thought was pretty damn good

My fiance asked someone on the vauxhall forum i shall try and get a name number etc......

WARNING! Please don't go for the flip paint mix of blue and red. I know two people now with PINK cars. The paint didn't turn out right and now there is a megan coupe and a starlet gt turbo pink in NI. I't alright if you like pink, but just a wee tip from me.

This is a PPM prepared car, its diablo red as used on the 306/106. I think it suits a modified 205 really well.

i also think candy red would look good on your car.

You've asked a question to which there is no simple answer in the fact that everybody has different taste but Oranges and Reds seem to be considered cool. So, why not try the burnt Orange colour of the 350Z? (Sorry can't find a pic).

Wow had some really good ideas there. And really like the candy red and also the 350Z orange and the diablo red all these colours really tickle my fancy....

 

Going to have to find out actual costs of a respray now you have all got me thinking as it did sound very cheap at the time...

 

As for the flip paint turning pink.. OOPS!!!!!!!!!

If i went for flip it would have to be purple/green i think
