Fuel Pump Relay - Availability ? (New 2026)

AKA Tachometric relay, This relay connects the pump to the 12V feed with the engine running. It uses a Tach signal to engage the relay.

 

The only brand (or latest brand to manufacture these seem to be Meat & Doria.

Though I'm stuck between knowing which part number between two options.

Google is saying I need 422040. but I can only find 422011, which looks the same part?

 

Can anyone advise?

is the 422011 the Opal / Vauxhall one? Will it work?

It seems like so yes , it is listed as Opel item ..

Opel/Vauxhall used the same Bosch Jetronic management back in the days and quite a few other makes/models from that era too .

 

I've OE Opel Kadett 2.0 fuel pump relay on mine for well over 15years now , only difference is that it primes for a sec. with the key ON .

 

Different PSA numbers might be just brand wise , one for Bosch and another for Cartier or Valeo .
