YouTube vid link attached. In the process of adjusting my automatic linkage cable I came across a connector which I hadn’t seen before and if anyone knows where it might have gone that would be helpful but also and more worrying  near the  ignition coil there was a burnt out wire that looks to have come from the back of the connector plug for tge coil and was connected to earth. I hadn’t noticed before as it was tucked away and the engine appears to run fine. Any advise re this woukd also be greatly received.

Thankyou Brett

Hi Bremar , the little white wire of the coil plug would have had a black female spade on the end and is I believe for noise suppression but generally isn't used and just hangs there , the white connector looks like it might be for the reverse switch for the front of a manual gearbox  gearbox , it may not be used on an auto I don't know for sure.
