presumably its likely to have had a rebuild in the past?

Unknown and nothing that proves it has. I think I’ve found the source of the air leak on between inlet and head - so I’ve ordered a therma tech gasket. Anyone know what bolts I need to replace the existing inlet manifold bolts - believe they are the standard ones.

you'll need slightly longer bolts I'd imagine, not by much though, i've come across a few that have pulled threads with a thicker gasket used.

Small amount of progress;

 

- Wired up the rad fans which is connected to the loom via the standard connector

- Swapped out the clear indicators to orange ones

- new smaller intercooler (little thicker but fits under the valance better

- New braided hydraulic lines for the charger oil 

 

 

 

So close to getting this ready now! hopefully be done in the next few weeks!!

Been meaning to do this for a while, but installed some new Gaz Gold coilovers and drop links.

 

 

 

 

Also took her out for a first drive since the charger was installed..... wow it shifts and such a smooth power delivery.

 

Next: Going to put it through an MOT next month ... wish me luck
