Just replaced my fuel pump with a Bosch one I bought years ago when I thought they might me getting hard to get hold of.

Just been looking and Bosch ones now  look unavailable

Has anyone found a supply of Bosch and if not what are suitable/good replacements?

so the bare pump inside that is originally a  0580453052, an 0580 314 075 is apparently the superseded part, however I can;t see any available.

a walbro GSS342  is said to fit, never tried one myself as yet.

Yes, I've fitted several  GSS-342K into the white carrier. It's a fairly easy swap. Not so into the black one however.

Hi Peter

Any problems with the existing standard fuel pressure regulator and the 8? bar the walbro pump can produce?

The pressure is determined by the spring in the fuel reg. The Walbro pump is just capable of handling that much pressure. An oem pump starts to make strange noises at approx. 6 Bar in comparison.
