Hi,

Carbs are such a backward step. TB’s are essentially all the same hardware and offer more.

Just run the stock ecu and run a vacuum manifold to collect the vacuum from each runner. It still needs that to determine the load.

any cheap aftermarket ecu will do. Just run ign only.

There is a conversion kit. Dizzy conversion I believe it is called.

I’ve been running twin 45 Webers. Old School, sounds great, throttle response and performance upgrade - TBs and ecu is the more modern solution.

not for an ew, there is no way to drive the dizzy.

itb response is better, as is reliability, and ability to get fuelling correct across the whole rpm and load range.

No chance on an XU10J4 either, unless you replace the inlet cam with one from an XU9J4.

VW Hall sensor on the gearbox + arduino + some rework on someone else's code.

If you just want dizzy-like ignition curves others have done it before even with coils on plugs, the problem is that they did it for their engine not yours.
