Tom Fenton 1,564 Posted Wednesday at 07:26 AM I'm looking for a set of component speakers to fit in the front doors, I've got a set of Infinity in another 205 which are great, but it seems not made any more. There are a wide range of options out there from around £50 to over £300, can anyone shed any light on which are a decent choice spending up to say £100? I don't really think I need a set of £300 speakers in a 205. These Alpine look OK to me but is there something else I should be considering? Duroc 2 1 Cars Posted 10 hours ago Whoops....I've gone a bit wrong then. I have Focal es165kx2 component speakers. But they do sound sublime. But cheaper componet Focal speakers are worth a shout. I cut my doors to fit 6.5", but standard 5.25" setup something like this might be worth a look: Focal Access 130AS 100w 13cm 2-Way Component Speakers. barneys66 126 1 Cars Posted 12 minutes ago I don't think you'll go wrong with those Tom if it's just a 'standard' head unit. Assume you need component as opposed to coaxial? Not sure what you've got upstream, or if you plan on running a small amp (and without stretching to SPRs) then I'd also consider the SPGs which are a touch over budget: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/202354998422
