Right Side Sagging

Recommended Posts

Gohn

my TD has started slumping on the Right (drivers) side

its used daily but Im not at all heavy and did not expect any sagging

Original springs / torsion bars / shocks all round

from the ground up thru hub centre to the bottom of the wheel arch:

FRONT

Right - 650mm

Left - 662

REAR

Right - 635mm

Left - 645

Right side is roughly 12mm lower in the front and 10mm lower in the rear

its been suggested on here in the past that the rear follows the front

so planning to swapover the front coil springs first, see how that looks

any suggestions welcome

Quite common. If a rhd car mainly has driver only and no passenger, then in time it will sag

Its common to sag on the drivers side.

Dont swap the torsion bars side to side, they are known to snap if You do.

Re-setting the dummy shock a bit  longer on the drivers side and moving the bar round on the splines is what I do to compensate for sag at the back.
