Valve Springs

Hi guys, I am new to this website.

I have a question on valve springs. I was replacing "valve stem seals" on my Peugeot 206; I marked all 16 Shims so that they go back where they came from, however I mixed valve springs and retainers. Is this a problem? If so, how do I fix it?
