Weber twin 40 conversion

Hi

i have bought carbs and manifold to convert the car to carbs but have been told that power steering pump will be in the way for conversion. Has anyone made different brackets for the pump to avoid this ?

I've not done it personally, but the alloy XU sump pans have lugs cast on the front of them to accept the AC compressor on AC cars, I'd look to adapting those to carry your PAS pump. You also need to change the bracket on the front of the block from a PAS to non-PAS bracket to move the alternator down.
