Hello All

I bought my 1.6 GTI Head head many years ago,

 

The head has been sent off for work, i got a call saying that its been ported and uprated or a non stock camshaft and the guides are Fooked,

my question is, can i go back to stock camshaft?

 

would i need to change the springs and valves? he said the springs and shims were different from stock shims,

 

Any advice would be fantastic
