Coolant system bleed valve

The coolant system bleed valve which is a press fit into the cylinder head popped out at the weekend. What's the best solution? Refit using a suitable Loctite? Dispose of and just make a straight fitting? I don't use the valve to bleed the system, as I use the valve on the Baker BM hose to the heater.
