Anti Roll Bar Rubbing

Recommended Posts

murtaghp

Hi All,

I recently fitted new Bilstein shocks with Eibach springs and the MOT man picked up that my front anti-roll bar is rubbing on the wishbone.

We jacked the car up to normal ride height and there was plenty of clearance.

Has anybody seen this issue before?

Droplinks are possibly too long, have come across this a few times, i think there is an incorrect cross reference to a 106 that happened at some point.

Though is it only happening on one side?

The passenger side is rubbing and the driver side has about 1mm clearance.

When he jacked the car up on the ramp, the ARB moved to below the wishbone.

I’ll have a look at droplinks and see what they should measure and check
