Fitting rallyspot lights to GTi

Hello,

I would welcome any top tips for fitting spot lamps to my 20( Gti please?

Do you know where I can purchase some mounting brackets or will I have to make some?

Where is the best place to mount the brackets, I see top of the bumper seems favourite?

Any advice would be well received.

When I did this a few years ago now I couldn’t find any brackets for sale so made some, not especially difficult. As you say I drilled and mounted them to the bumper. Heavier spots need a steady bar back to the bonnet to stop them vibrating about. Since moving to Lightforce spots that are a lot lighter they don’t need the steadies.

You used to be able to buy 205 specific ones from tweeks. I had a set on my old rally car, similar to toms but in steel and had provision for 4 spots.
