Still the same situation so far, Delphi didn't reply back as of yet so ill need to chase again.

Other option is the 309 wishbones again, which fit perfectly with the 205 shafts and brand new tie rods etc i had.

Will be doing the same setup on my miami shell build for next year.

Been shopping ...

And as per my previous assumption , "Teknorot" wishbones are still good - no repacked Chinese crap .

So yeah , recommended , all dimensions are spot on and they seem decent quality part .

Part No's :

Chunky indeed, are they forged or cast?

Looks like forged to me if looking at the parting line in comparison with the old TRW , not sure ..

Weights little bit more than the old TRW wishbone , but has bigger/thicker webbing .

Hit and miss these days. I have 1 qh with kleber bushes. I tried to match up with the opposite side, same brand, and had 2 different castings, with different types of bush and collar. Not tried febi or skf 205 wishbones as of yet.

Delphi wishbones still have the incorrect casting. I ordered them through Autodoc and I’m waiting for a refund. I’m now trying MOOG (PE-TC-5033 MOOG Suspension arm Front Axle, Right, Lower, Control Arm | AUTODOC price and review) again through Autodoc. They have detailed photos and seem to be almost identical to the Teknorot ones that DamirGTI confirmed as correct. I’ll update when I receive them.

Firstline wishbones look identical to those Teknorot, right down to the white boot cover - thick, chunky and heavier than the originals. There's a comparison pic on the Retro Race and Rally website - pic attached - I fitted a pair, very happy with them so far.

They say Borg + Beck are identical to the Firstlines, so maybe Teknorot, Firstline, Borg + Beck, MOOG - the same?

About time we had a decent supply.

Realise your Greece (I'm Ireland) and the delays there can sometimes be with Autodoc, but did you get the arm to check yet?

Last month, I had a TUV failed due to wishbone joint.
Since I'm a Turkish guy and Teknorot is a local company it was easy to get one.
I struggled a bit to fit it. Perhaps it was because I was trying to do it alone on a jack stand.
Yes result was perfect and cleared TUV(MOT).

Thanks both...  The SKF left and right arms (which don't fit) are labelled as being 'manufactured' in Turkey, though on closer inspection I wonder should they perhaps be better describing them as 'assembled' instead, using bought in (but wrongly profiled) castings but with their own bushes / ball joints added?

Karabas, do SKF have a plant in Turkey?

Bizarre that so many big name companies appear to be selling (and for quite a while too) parts that clearly don't fit... surely it must've become an issue with customers long before now and they're already aware of it?

Arguably a safetly matter too, what if someone, somehow did manage to get them fitted for them to later fail... whole can of worms waiting to happen there!

Kostas, you're right the Moog offerings are visually identical to the Firstline / Borg and Beck ones, same casting letters etc., though images can always be misleading I suppose... when yours do arrive, it'd be very useful to see if they are all one in the same / fit correctly, cheers.

Took a punt on the Moog items (Left and Right) and they turned up today.

Can confirm they're both the correct profile and fit.

Only proviso is that my subframe is currently off the car, so the final proof will ultimately be when they're all are back on the car.

If you're minded to try them for yourself, below are the part numbers (links are to Autodoc) -

Left -  MOOG PE-TC-5034

Right -  MOOG PE-TC-5033

If you require both, they're available as a bundled set -  MOOG MOG772N0053 which works out at about £10 less per side, so a £20 saving.

If you can wait for an Autodoc big discount day, the bundled set came in at just below £112 posted.

I approached SKF about theirs and (over and above the arms not fitting) can't fault their after sales... they quickly looked into it and a full refund has been promised.

Hopefully @Kostas205 finds his also fit, it's unlikely I'll be fitting mine anytime soon, maybe if he reaches that point before me he could let us know all goes well?

Happy to hear that the MOOG ones are correct. Mine have entered Greece but haven’t arrived in the city I live in yet. There are delays due to Christmas. As soon as I get them, I will test them on the car, hopefully next week.

The MOOG wishbones have arrived. The items are exactly as shown in the pictures on the Autodoc. The casting appears to be correct.
I will test-fit them on the car at the end of the week.

I have test-fitted the MOOG wishbones on the car and can confirm that they are correct. I have also tested them with black Powerflex bushes, which usually are harder to fit, and they again fitted without problems.
