are you sure of that part number ?

814954 wasn't on the catalog anywhere, not for the early or later versions

https://www.boutique-laventure-association.com/fr/26-205

there's plenty of parts here but they may wanna sell you the whole mirror not just the one clip

Just in case anyone searches for this in the future..

I needed a new metal mirror plate and as missing from mine, even though I had the mirror and plastic clip.

Searching threads on here, and seeing online cost (£15 for the plate on eBay when in stock, or £48 for 8149.54 from Spoox) I thought I'd seek an alternative.  I break Smart Roadsters as a side hustle and thought I'd pull the mirror and plate from one of those, as was not looking for a perfect match.

Well, turns out I got one anyway!  Yes the arm is different but the plate is the same, as are the mirror dimensions.  I bonded the plate to the screen but had a bit too much gloop out of the sides to managed to break the original clip in the process..   But, if you take more care than me, I'm sure you'd be able to stick with the original mirror and clip if that's important.  So, I just cut the gloop back and put the Roadster mirror on - job done.

I'm sure there must be lots of other manufacturers who use Donnelly mirrors, so before splashing out have a Google or just take a slightly more modern version from a Smart Roadster:
