snaps 0 Posted October 28, 2021 Hello I have a jap import 205gti with kmh speedometer. I have bought the UK mph speedometer but want to put the correct mileage on converted from kmh. I am struggling to do this. I have taken the barrel off but there is obviously a mechanism in place to stop you doing this easily. Any advice. I asked a pro if he could wind back a clock to match the mileage on a new engine I'd installed once you can do it, he just didn't want to say so cause he thought I was being dodgy 9 hours ago, snaps said: I have taken the barrel off do you mean the central one that runs from the back thru to the centre speedo needle ? I've got a spare dial but am afraid that if I took it apart, the gears and springs would go everywhere and I think there's some tricky button or something that stops the clock being wound back no idea where though, put up a picture of the barrel if you have it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
