Twin carb/TB manifold identification!

Recommended Posts

Jer309GTi

Evening all, been sorting through all my spares getting ready to start work on my 405 and found this manifold I forgot I had, could anyone help me identify it please? I'm pretty sure it's an XU 8v one, although could be an Mi16 one.

The regular spaced holes on one side are 100mm apart, and the wider spaced ones on the other are 120mm apart with 80mm in between. Will upload some more photos if I can, just need to resize them!

Cheers

*Edit* Doesn't look like an XU manifold from looking at google pics?!)

a picture of the head flange would help, definitely not 8v though, the ports are almost paired on the inlet side of the head to are in a pair of Vee shapes

Is that the side that mates to the head?

Doesn't look like a Pug manifold to me tbh. Looks a lot like a Vauxhall C16SE, but that also isn't quite it.

c/c spacing on the cylinders would be 93mm if it were Peugeot.

Looks like the Toyota 2TC/3TC pattern:

Thanks for all the replies, I don't know how I managed to end up with a non-Peugeot manifold in with all my spares, must have came in a job lot of parts I bought about 15 years ago!

Yes that is the head side of the manifold in the pic, and I think Baptiste in his above post has solved the mystery, those measurements match up exactly to the manifold :D
