Remove rear ARB - which bolt?

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

Does anyone know off hand the thread size of the bolt required to wind the plate off of the rear ARB please?

To save a trip to B&Q, will I have removed anything of a suitable size from anywhere else on the car that I could use for this purpose?

Cheers

Ian.

B&Q is not likely to have anything, 'standard' m12 is 1.75

Beware that the end of the bolt may become damaged during the process. Clean it up afterwards, or use copper or aluminium scrap underneath, if the bolt is important.

All good - used a brake caliper bolt and went really slow with lots of grease. No signs of damage to the ARB or the bolt, phew!

Both plates are now off the ARB :-)

Thanks all.

Ian.
