Indicator staying on after turning

Hi, i drove my 205 for the first time last week and every time i went to turn into a road I indicate and when i turn in my indicator would  stays on, are they not like modern cars when you take the turn they click and stop? Or mines just got a problem..

they should self cancel, do you have the original steering wheel with the tab on the back of the hub which his the finger of the indicator stalk?

No i have a sparco steering wheel with a boss kit, was fitted to car before me.

 

ill remove and check mate thank you

Some aftermarket boss kits have the tab built in, either a solid metal tab or just two roll pins occasionally. Other kits expect you to remove the circlip and the white plastic part from the original steering wheel and transfer it to the aftermarket boss.

I sorted it,

made a ring with a tab and welded it to the boss kit, now its working thanks for the help guys..

Yes mate its got a k20 i just finished it last week. Been building it since 2018.
