Peugeot 306 door loom needs repairing

Recommended Posts

Oreyt,

My passenger side electric window won't work via the passenger side switch but it will via the drivers side switch.

I'm guessing this is due to the common door loom problem?

I rang up peugeot to get a price on a replacement loom and was quoted £190.....

So I thought my best bet would be simply to just find the broken wire in the loom itself and replace it.
Any tips on doing such a thing? I've never done any work on wiring looms.
How hard can it be?

Cheers

I had the same problem with my old 306. Get it sorted soon or you might lose the ability to use the electric windows.

I pulled the trim off the door and lower drivers side, pulled through the door loom to repair it. The wires had split right next to the plug causing all sorts of issues. Don't do what I did, and forget to mark the wires. Took me ages to match them up........
