Lower Arms / Wishbones - which and where from?

Recommended Posts

Justin

Hello all,

I know this routinely pops up, but I need a pair of new lower arms as both ball joints are very unhappy.

I fitted Motaquip arms about 2 years (6k miles)  ago, so am a bit disappointed they're knackered again. I can blame piss-poor Oxfordshire roads and spirited driving, but even so.

Any current recommendations for a decent replacement?

Cheers,
Justin.

DamirGTI

- TRW

- Delphi

- Sasic

- Moog

... all good/durable with regards to ball joints .

- Lemforder (best quality wishbones , but a bit pricey and tricky bit is finding some still on stock/sale)

Budget/cheaper option , if you don't drive much :

- Teknorot (not as bad either in terms of ball joints durability , at half the price of the above brands)

I've used First Line ones on the rally car for the last 5 years.
