rear end creak 205gld

Recommended Posts

dogbreath

hi, i have just developed a Near side rear end loud creak. it is a short lasting noise like something solid rolling around the boot. it is not constant but happens a couple of times on a 30 min journey.

Car drives fine.

Initially thought is was rear axle bearing, but back wheels dont have any of the typical toe in appearence.

Any ideas.

Could it be a sign of iminent trouble or is it ok to leave?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like trailing arm bearings, they can start to seize without being worn to the point of excess camber or toe, get on it ASAP else you risk irrepairable damage to the cross tube.
