Plastic sunroof drainage tubes...

Recommended Posts

Had the head cloth out for ease of cleaning and noticed at least two breaks in some of my drainage tubes that have been fixed in the past by inserting a smaller diameter pipe inside.

Works well enough in the sense they don't leak, but I'd image they also have the potential to cause a 'dam' of water where the internal lip that's been created restricts flow. Now's the time to sort it while I've access.

Plenty of pipe etc. out there but does anyone have a particular source / type they've recently used and would recommend as a direct replacement for the original?

Very rough measurements - external diameter 14mm / internal diameter 11.5mm, though there's signs of some shrinkage over the years.

Material is more plastic like than rubber and thin walled, the images make it look thicker than in reality.
