Problems installing metal fuel pipes

Recommended Posts

DSYKES5500

Hi all,

I've spent an hour trying to thread the front part of the metal fuel pipe under the car through the hole between the shell and the anti-roll bar and sub frame to get it to the engine bay.  I've got the car on stands and I cannot get the angle needed to get it through.

Is there a certain way I need to angle the pipe to get it through?  Or do I need it right up in the air?

Thanks!

If the front is on ramps its possible but there is one exact way it will go in ,you have to feed it one way to get it past the bend in the pipe then turn it round I think its been a while but its quite a pain to get it fitted !
