woodymi16 24 2 Cars Posted May 9, 2019 Just a bit of a moan really, went to my local dealer for an oil filter, dealer has recently changed to Desira, no parts guy now, front desk gave me a price for a filter for £13.97, I said no thanks. Couldn't get a price off Service Box but bought two genuine filters else where for less than Desira price. I'm guessing they don't want the business anymore. Rant over. welshpug 1,621 Posted May 9, 2019 doesn't sound far off, the old filters have been long superseded by the longer service interval type that were introduced in the late 90's when they changed the DW's XUD and XU's to 10k+ intervals instead of the 6k intervals.
