beyada 0 Posted April 26, 2019 Looking for some opinions. My owners manual states either 10W40 or 15W40 engine oil should be used. In my mind it would be better to go with the 10W40 as its a thinner oil at cold start. However, oils 5W40 or 0W40 are available so would it be better to go with these even though not listed in the 205 owners handbook? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Anthony 1,000 Posted April 26, 2019 Either 5W40 or 10W40 will be fine for all year use in the UK climate. Typically, 5W40 will be fully synthetic and 10W40 will be mineral or semi-synthetic. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
