MrAndy 10 Posted March 11, 2019 Hi, Question about re-installation of the ignition lock.. To be able to change the connector, you have to open the halves of the lock by opening the 2 screws, which I marked with red circles. I opened couple of those used locks yesterday and felt that those screws were not that tight. Also they did not free up even opened for couple of rounds like normally happens if there's no glue etc involved. After building the new lock into place I tried that it works OK. Somehow it feels like a littlebit tacky?? Could it be that it's caused by me overtightening those screws? Meaning, if those srews are too tight, does it make the mechanism jammed??? -A-
MrAndy 10 Posted March 12, 2019 Answering to myself. Did open it up yesterday and loosened the srcews by 1/4 turn and secured them with a littlebit of glue. It did get better. -A-
