(Not 205) 307 Weird ECU/BSI issues

Recommended Posts

Hi all, not been on here for a while,

Anyway straight to the point, the wife has a 307 1.6 that I just took for an mot, failed on emissions with a very small hole in the exhaust (CO=0 HC=0 lamba=1.05)

Anyway I wemt to hook up pp2000 and my tester isn't communicating to the car, also I've just noticed the service interval doesn't show, just a spanner (not flashing) I tried to reset the service light but the 10 second counter just hangs on 10 and refuses to count down.

Just typing this out while waiting on a power cycle reset to the BSI to see if that helps, but just thought I'd reach out to see if anyone had any suggestions

Thanks in advance

If its the same as the 1.4 the engine, the fuse box corrodes causing probs associated with the BSI. Check the three plugs going into the fuse box for corrosion.
