Don’t forget, nothing on the coil except the orange and black wires from the MSD.

Sorry to butt in here but are the distributor pick ups still available, or anyone know a good source for supplying them?

I've seen "Ducellier" dizzy type ones available , but not the "Bosch" ones ...

 

Try someone who does distributors like :

... if you need one for "Bosch" dizzy , second hand/used pick up coil will do if you don't mind used parts .. haven't heard one failed on Bosch dizzy for ages .
