JoeBWS 1 Posted August 12, 2018 Im looking for some rear shocks for my 205 and im seeing conflicting reports of what to put on. Its just a lowered road car, do i want B4s? 306 GTi-6 ones? Tom Fenton 1,524 Posted August 13, 2018 The OE 306 GTI6 dampers are no longer available from the dealers, someone ordered the replacement part number on here but it didn't look like it was really a proper equivalent in terms of spec, just "something that would fit". The old Bilstein B4 got a bad rep as the first ones weren't up to spec, however as far as I know the later ones sorted this, or the 306 B4 rears are slightly uprated to cope with the weight difference of a 306, but will fit on a 205.
