205 Gti6 Servo Vacuum???

Recommended Posts

Hi All, can someone confirm that the little vacuum solenoid pictured below (just above the power steering fluid reservoir in photo) just needs to go to the vacuum pipe coming off the brake servo?

thanks

No.  Just remove it and blank off the hole on the throttle body where the pipe from it connects - it's the carbon canister valve but isn't required on pre-CAT 205's as the fuel tank vents to atmosphere.

The vacuum for the brake servo is at the other end of the engine - you can see it in the picture where the hose joins the metal pipe on the bulkhead.  Connect the 205 brake servo vacuum hose to where that hose is connected.

Thanks Anthony, when I remove it do I just unplug and leave unplugged the sensor?
