Kambo

Bare minimum (suspension) for a rolling chassis 1.9 GTi

Kambo

Cars not running nor has any front suspension on, the front end has been on axles with the engine out

I need to move the car about in the garage (mainly forwards and backwards) brakes not important as only hand pushing but some very minor steering might be needed

So can I get away with just subframe, steering rack, struts, hubs, discs and wishbones to get the wheels on?

Thanks :)

comstructing a simple frame with a few caster wheels seems easier.

I was going to suggest if you  have a large decent trolley jack then use that with a length of 4x2 timber just to move it about the garage.

The driveshafts retain the hub bearings so as long as you dont move it much or steer it you should be able to move it a couple of times. Probably better to put the driveshafts in and  cable tie/string them up off the subframe

some M24 Nuts and bolts and a few large washers will suffice.
