Sump required

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know where I could locate a sump for a ‘89 1.9 GTi.

Ive scoured eBay etc and there are sumos available for pretty much every other engine apart from the 1.9.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welshpug it’s a steel one on it now, it’s pretty rusty but before I start giving it a tap I want to know I can get one.

Farmer let let me know how much you want for it. Thanks.

ive never seen one rust through on a peugeot before, its common for them to be mostly rusty looking but will clean up just fine.

Is the 1.6 Gti one the same Id suspect it is just the 1.9 has a spacer In between it and the block .

1600 and 1900 different part numbers

They're about the same overall depth so the 1.9 is shallower to account for the 'spacer' (actually a block stiffener.)

I see well there is a 1.9 engine being broken in for sale section , no mention of a sump but worth an ask :
