artois7 21 Posted January 26, 2018 What's the easiest way to approach this? Looking at a shell with no rear axle or front suspension. Guessing the answer is put suspension back on it....

Bogsye 22 Posted January 26, 2018 There were drawings for a simple jig on the forum at one point which picked up on the suspension/subframe mouting points. That's my plan for when my shell (one day) gets to the paint stage. Brian
Bogsye 22 Posted January 26, 2018 Or something along the lines of mk2 Mania's shell mover kit. http://leonbirchall.co.uk/car-mover.html I bought their roll over jig which I put casters on to, to allow me to move it around. Brian
speno 239 2 Cars Posted January 27, 2018 trolley with a big board on top ( depends on what surface you are moving it on )
hoodygoodwood 70 3 Cars Posted January 27, 2018 Buy 4 big castors from Toolstation/Screwfix and mount them on a purpose made rectangular wooden frame - 4 by 2 timber might be enough . I have made smaller versions of this , great for wheeling engines and gearboxes about .
Kane 34 Posted January 28, 2018 Either a purpose made frame as noted above or a pallet with 4 castors fixed to the underside.
