Hey guys need some info...looked on Google and here but my search's aren't bring up any useful answers...

Iam doing a 306 v6 conversion (it was a package came out another 306 awhile back) didn't trust the engine so sourced another . The original had 3 water outlets from thermostat two I know for heater matrix and one for expansion tank.. but my new engine has four outlets?! Can I blank one or should I swap the housings over ?

Cheers

Yes I think so as it didn't have a normal flywheel just a thin metal thing with the teeth for crank pick up. Not sure if to blank one or probably safer to switch the housings if I can

Thanks I hadn't seen that one. It appears a lot of people have over heating issues with these engines ...

not overheating, but they do make a lot of heat, definitely no vag diesel!

servicebox has many useful drawings, Georges conversion is still running well some 4 years after I helped put it together.

Here is mine at Pugfest last year.

I will be fitting the later ES9J4S engine later this year.
