Juttie205 123 2 Cars Posted March 13, 2016 I have just fitted my engine and thought that the wires on the engine loom would go straight onto the switch but switch has 2 spade terminals and i have a 2 pin plug on loom should there be a small loom from switch to plug? jackherer 543 Posted March 14, 2016 The switch plungers are different lengths so you can't just put a BE3 switch into a BE1 gearbox or vice versa, you'll need to change the plug on the loom. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
