Be4R Clutch Cable

Recommended Posts

samthornton1990

I've read many articles/websites on the subject and none of them give a difinitive answer for the 205.

Has anyone got a cable that's off the shelf? I've got a lad saying the berlingo/partner one fits but it's auto adjust and I'd rather have a manual one.

Has anyone got any solid findings?

You'll need a custom cable if you want manual adjust, they stopped using manual adjust cables on new vehicles in about 1993-4.

there are a few cables available for 106/saxo conversions, pretty expensive afaik

converting to hydraulic is easy enough.

I've seen the ones on Spoox but I was a bit weary as to wether they'd fit?

Is the 205 engine bay bigger than the 106/saxo?

yeah the engine bay is quite a bit bigger, mainly at the rear of the engine due to the layout of the suspension, it was made for an XUD anything else just happened to fit quite easily.

Looks like I'll have to go with a Partner cable for now then, get something custom made in the future then!

Where would be the place to go for a custom cable?
