It'll be a huge struggle to find either in brand new condition. A 1.9 AFM on eBay is listed as new yet it's clearly been used.

Options are to either get a used one and hope for the best, repair it yourself (if confident) or get it refurbished.

And as above, you'll need one for the 1.6.

Remanufactured isn't new though.

Plus I'm a little confused as to what exactly ATP do with them. New resistive material isn't really possible and the circuit board isn't available new from Bosch...so all that's left is a new pot and temperature sensor, which you can get for pennies. The only value to it that I can see is recalibration. Not to mention that their attitude stinks as well.

Your statement is incorrect.

A 1.9 XU9JA AFM is still available from Bosch.

Now a 1.6 may not be but a fair chance.

I have seen both new in recent times.

I emailed Bosch about two days ago and they said it was a no go.

Seen the one in Spain, looks decent but would rather stick to the UK. Might try Bosch again and see if they can supply the ceramic circuit board as it does have its own part number.
